Hey, Iβm Rach, founder of The Authentic Kitchen, and weβre here to make life a little more delicious!
A little over ten years ago, I had to give up both gluten and dairy within a couple of months of each other. Back then, finding treats that didnβt contain either ingredient and didnβt taste like cardboard (or cost double the price!) was nearly impossible. I was constantly disappointed, and honestly, I missed that real cookie experience: gooey middles, golden edges, and the kind of indulgent bakes that actually feel like a treat.
So in 2023 I finally decided to start baking my own! We trialled lots of different products, and finally landed on recipes that hit the spot β and it turns out, you guys love them too!
I started The Authentic Kitchen to bring you cookies and cookie pies that taste just as good (if not better) than the gluten-filled versions, without the crazy added price tag. Because why should anyone miss out on delicious treats just because of their dietary needs?
Everything is handmade in small batches from my home kitchen, using high-quality ingredients and a whole lot of love. Whether you're gluten free or not, these bakes are all about joy, indulgence, and flavour that speaks for itself.
